Relaxed and friendly. However the Gallery was very busy which meant that it was not always possible to stay together and discuss the painting as a group.

I really enjoyed it. I was initially thinking of cancelling as I didn't fancy 2 hours up Carlton Hill outside. I'm glad the venue changed to the national gallery cafe and hope meetings can continue there. Definitely an indoor space would be best. Robyn was so lovely and had a few suggestions for everyone's work as it took shape. The small group worked well around a table. If the group size grows then not so easy for Robyn to see everyone unless it's a big table.

Title or Location: Foolish Temptation
I was invited to take part in a group themed exhibition, the brief was ?Fools?. I chose to interpret the fool as not someone to be laughed at or the object of scorn or pity. My fools were just flaws in our human nature, the ones we can all identify with: Foolish Temptation, the Love Fool, Foolish Dreamer? I produced a series of large thought provoking works (oil on panel) which invited open interpretation and much discussion.

I've painted the Cowgate a few times, although I can't stand this part of town, it is great for capturing the mood, atmosphere and backdrop when painting the City.

This image was hand drawn and oil painted on a 12x16 canvas sheet. It is in memory of a baby Squirrel that myself and my teenage daughter raised years ago. We called him Icarus.I was Veterinarian Technician at the time and my daughter actually grew up to be a Veterinarian. Such laughs we had with that baby Squirrel!

My husband Brenton and I took off just before Christmas to the mountains of the Great Dividing Range, following the Snowy River to the ocean. I took a thousand photos, but wanted to paint one of the stunning memory images I bought with me when I returned home. I love to travel with my husband and paint wherever we go.
